    • The brief: Rethink poorly used and under-functional spaces, where the existing furniture was not suited to the volume of the rooms and where the overall design lacked identity and cohesion. Without altering the existing structure, we reimagined the villa as a blank canvas, preserving the identity of the original materials and architectural style, while integrating its geographical setting, climate and local culture. As with every project, our reflection started from the family's lifestyle and real day-to-day needs.

    • The main lounge was designed as a conversational space for daytime gatherings and relaxation, opening onto the patio and pool. The central wall, which interrupted both view and natural light, was opened with two glass bays to establish a true indoor-outdoor connection. The bespoke sofa hugs the curved angles of the room; split into two tones with a central walnut shelf, it brings rhythm and breathing space rather than a heavy monolithic block. Beige and terracotta tones, echoed in the rug and warmed by walnut accents, dialogue with sheer curtains in natural fibres, a thread we carry through every room around the patio.

    • The second lounge, dedicated to family movie nights and casual dining, is built around a custom TV unit in travertine with walnut shelving, whose cabinet patterns echo the railings and doors already present throughout the villa. Indirect lighting softens the atmosphere at the end of the day. The palette, in clay and sand tones inspired by Mediterranean shores, resonates with the codes of Kuwaiti vernacular architecture.

    • The powder room was redesigned around a long vanity countertop running the full length of the space, offering integrated storage and functionality while preserving the existing flooring. Travertine, walnut and brass compose an intimate atmosphere, extended by a wooden mashrabiya screen that creates a visual link with the adjoining hallway.

    • The hallway and entrance regained warmth and identity thanks to wooden mashrabiya panels, a bench seat reupholstered in the colours of the main lounge, and a bespoke entrance console in walnut, travertine and brass, designed to deliver a striking first impression and announce the design narrative of the entire villa.

    • Outdoors, a new garden lounge with curved lines optimises circulation around the pool, while a more intimate relaxation corner, featuring a hanging chair and cactus planters, brings life back to a previously unused area, reinforcing the architectural identity of the property.

This luxury interior design project illustrates our bespoke approach: restoring soul and a genuine identity to a space, in harmony with its culture, climate and the lifestyle of its residents. A refined thread of natural materials, walnut, travertine, brass and touches of greenery, for a luxurious, warm and deeply coherent atmosphere.
